03How we use it

  • To reply to your request and arrange a discovery call or technical assessment.
  • To understand your project and prepare for our conversation.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence if we go on to work together.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making. We will only send you marketing messages if you have separately agreed to receive them.

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. [Confirm with your advisor]

04How requests reach us

When you submit a form on this website, your browser opens a pre-filled email in your own email app. Nothing is sent until you press send, and the message travels through your email provider and ours like any other email.

Our email is hosted by [Email provider to confirm]. If we move to an online form or scheduling service in the future, we will update this notice to name it.

05Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept analytics in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline or ignore it, no analytics cookies are stored.

Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode that stores no cookies on your device. We don't use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we keep Google's ad-personalization signals turned off.

You can change your choice anytime using Cookie settings, which is also linked in the footer. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests the fonts, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. You can read how Google handles this in Google's privacy policy.

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as needed for that purpose:

  • Website hosting: [Hosting provider to confirm]

  • Fonts: Google Fonts (see above)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. Some providers may process data outside your country; where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer. [Confirm transfer safeguards]

07How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for [retention period to confirm, e.g. 24 months] after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the engagement and our legal obligations.

Google Analytics data is kept for [2 or 14 months, matching the data-retention setting in your Google Analytics property].

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To make a request, email us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
